Had a really really nice stay, the hotel is nice.
The location was stunning and beautiful; it was in the middle of the town. Also, it was 10 mins drive from Lincoln Theatre...

Gargia Lodge has truly captured the essence of a traditional Norwegian mountain lodge. The rustic furnishings and warm ambiance of the Budget Cabin transported me back in time, giving me a taste of what it was like for the Sami people on their way to the market in Alta. It felt like a cozy home away from home, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of nature.
Flies and mosquitoes were a nuisance during the nearby walks.

We had the most magical experience at Gargia Lodge! The views were amazing and the room was comfortable with a heated bathroom floor. The meals were fantastic, and the staff made sure to customize them to our liking. The snowmobile safari to the Arctic Tundra and meeting the huskies was a highlight. The waterfall and cottage were also great, and the reindeer soup and blueberry pie were delicious. The sauna and hot tubs were a nice addition, although they did cost extra.
We felt right at home at Gargia Lodge, and had no complaints at all.

I recently stayed at a lovely hotel nestled in a remote area, perfect for those who love outdoor activities. The value for money was exceptional, with prices that didn't break the bank. The attention to detail was impressive, from the well-equipped rooms with an additional bedroom, to the attached washroom with four comfy beds. The service provided by the staff was top-notch, always friendly and helpful. And let's not forget the breakfast, which included hot, fresh bread that was simply delicious. One detail that stood out was the Slovakian receptionist who went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.
All was fine, no complaints here.

I had such a wonderful time at this hotel. The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful views overlooking the fjord. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. One thing I really loved was the attention to detail, like the heated bathroom floors and the selection of board games in the living area. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast with hot, fresh bread - just what I needed to start my day off right. I can't recommend this hotel enough.
Everything was absolutely perfect, I couldn't fault a thing.

The Budget Cabin at Gargia Lodge was absolutely charming and cozy, making us feel right at home in the beautiful arctic valley. The traditional Norwegian mountain lodge style of the room truly added to the warmth and inviting atmosphere, especially after a long day of being out in the cold. The kitchenette in the room was a great addition, allowing us to cook our own meals and enjoy the convenience of having a microwave, stove, oven, and fridge.
Personally, we found the size of the cabin a bit small, but others may still find it enjoyable.

We chose this hotel for our team retreat as it offers a great work experience and opportunities for skill upliftment. The staff was friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The surroundings provided a peaceful and inspiring environment for our work sessions. The cozy cabins were comfortable and well-equipped, adding to the overall positive experience.
One service that would have been helpful for our work was a reliable and high-speed internet connection. Although the lodge offered Wi-Fi, the signal was weak and inconsistent, making it difficult to stay connected and collaborate effectively.

the location was quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. the complimentary WiFi was a bonus, allowing us to stay connected during our Easter break. We were offered a variety of activities to enjoy, such as a visit to see the huskies and walks to nearby waterfalls.
The room was a bit outdated and could use some refreshing. the bathroom was small and cramped.
